Are you looking for a Religious School? At Congregation Etz Chaim, our members’ children and grandchildren attend Religious School at the JCC on Sunday mornings from 9:00-noon during the school year. Our school serves children in grades pre-kindergarten through seven. Teachers provide a curriculum rich in Jewish history, Torah study and Hebrew instruction, including preparation for B’nai Mitzvah.

We are honored to welcome “Morah” Alice Nussbaum to our Congregation family as our new Religious school director. She has been a Jewish educator since her college days at the University of Pennsylvania where she received her degree in Elementary Education.

Congregation Etz Chaim is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism. We were founded in 1984 to provide a place where members can worship, educate their children about Jewish culture, and be a part of a supportive community.

Our diverse membership comes from throughout the Greater Rochester area. We have members who grew up in practicing Orthodox, Conservative and Reform families, as well as many interfaith families who are raising their children in the Jewish faith. All are welcome.

Congregation Etz Chaim offers new members ½ price membership dues and Religious School tuition for the first year! Call Ashley Power at 223-5344 for more information, or email admin@congregationetzchaim.org

Classes start Sunday, Sept 18—new students will be accepted through September.
